The service

Interv provides AI-generated software-engineering interview practice. The interviewer is an AI; responses and feedback are produced by a large language model and may be inaccurate or inconsistent. Interv is a practice tool, not a guarantee of any hiring outcome, and is not professional career advice.

Accounts

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide a valid email and meet any eligibility requirements. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.

Credits, subscriptions & billing

  • Sessions consume credits. Credits come from the free trial allotment, a monthly subscription, or one-time credit packs, billed through Stripe.
  • Subscription credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Pack credits do not expire. Subscription drains before packs.
  • Refunds: a subscription or credit pack is refundable only if no interview has been started since that purchase. Otherwise purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. [CONFIRM/ADJUST THIS POLICY.]
  • You can cancel a subscription anytime via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent credits/limits of the service, and don't use it unlawfully. We may rate-limit or block activity that threatens the service or its costs.

Your content

You retain ownership of what you write. You grant us the limited right to process it to operate the service (including sending it to our AI provider to generate responses and feedback, and storing it so you can review past sessions).

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the [3] months before the claim. [REVIEW LIABILITY CAP WITH COUNSEL.]
